H770 Hot Stamping foil sheet - silver
The silver hotstamp foil in the format 202 × 285 mm is a special transfer foil designed for hot stamping, thanks to which a distinctive, shiny and durable print or decoration can be created. The foil is transferred by heat and pressure to the target material (e.g. paper, cardboard, plastic, leather), where it leaves an elegant metallic effect - usually in the form of silver text, logos or decorative motifs. This foil is ideal for use in professional and creative projects where a luxurious look, exclusivity and aesthetic value of the output is desired. Suitable for manual presses (e.g. with brass plates) as well as for automated thermal presses, machine embossing or laminating machines.
... MoreProduct description
Hotstamping, or hot embossing, is a printing technique that combines pressure, heat and a special film to create a decorative or informative element on the surface of a product. A plate or embossing die heated to a specific temperature is pressed over the foil at the desired location, transferring a thin layer of foil to the substrate material. Hotstamp foils can also be applied without an embossing machine - using heat to print from a laser printer, where the foil is bonded directly to the toner.
The result is a glossy and permanently adhesive embossing that is resistant to abrasion, light and moisture.
Hotstamp foil is used to enhance printed materials such as wedding invitations, diplomas and luxury business cards. It is also often used for wine labels, perfumes, chocolates or gift boxes. It can be used for premium labels, decorations, security labels or creative DIY projects such as greeting cards, diaries and scrapbooks. In advertising, it helps to highlight logos, certificates, invitations or wedding announcements, giving products a professional and luxurious look.
Foil applications
1. Use with a stamp or plate
Hotstamp foil can be applied with a metal or silicone stamp:
Prepare a plate with the desired motif.
Heat the stamp to a temperature of 100-130 °C.
Place the foil between the stamp and the surface (e.g. cardboard, label).
Press under pressure for a few seconds.
After removal, the motif from the stamp will remain transferred to the substrate
In our offer you can find all accessories for hot stamping - stamps, presses, letter sets, pads.
2. Use with laser printer
Hotstamp foil can also be used without a stamp - only with printing from a laser printer:
Print the motif on paper using a laser printer. The film binds to the toner, not the ink, so this technique can only be used with a laser printer.
Place the film on the printed motif with the matte side facing the toner.
Use a laminator (110-130 °C) or iron. The heat will melt the toner slightly and the film will adhere.
After cooling, carefully peel off the film - it will remain only on the printed parts.
This method is ideal for invitations, greeting cards, business cards and decorations. We recommend a test print as the results depend on temperature, pressure and foil type.
