Transparent hologram labels represent a unique type of hologram highlighting in a decent and unforced way any document, ticket or product. They do not cover the base they are stuck to, they only add the rainbow holographic effect (at a certain angle only, against a source of light).

When printed, all the areas of standard hologram labels other than the text and graphics are left intact as reflective surfaces. Such holographic label always covers the entire spot it is stuck to rendering any text or pictures unreadable. If this is not desired, select a transparent hologram in your application. The areas with graphical elements in individual hologram layers are semi-transparent and in orthographic view principally invisible. When turned to a different angle, you can easily see the individual holographic layers as they form the unmistakable colourful transitions. When transparent holograms are placed over a picture or a text, they do not render it unreadable or interfere with the picture even if they can be easily and clearly seen at a different angle. That is why they are used mostly on items where a holographic security element should not interfere with the item or be used for publicity. These holograms are most often applied to e.g. photographs or other graphic scripts placed on proprietary documents so that photographs cannot be peeled off and replaced with other photographs. The labels may be placed anywhere over a text or a picture without rendering them unreadable.
