Brass wax stamp - Love

Decorative wax stamp with a pre-set "Love" inscription. This stamp can be used to seal love letters, Valentine cards and other gift items.

The stamping plate is made of brass; it is screwed, not glued into a solid wooden grip. The stamping plate is used for melted wax stamping, i.e. for a standard authentication method used since the Middle Ages. When the document or package is opened, the seal must be broken or otherwise irreversibly damaged clearly indicating that the letter was read or the package contents were seen.
waxes are not like a standard fat wax, they are made of fusible plastic. We can offer sealing waxes in all colours.
